(Mornington Peninsula, Australia)
How would you describe your sound and lyric style?
Inspired by the grunge rockers of yesteryear it’s well riffy, with thunderous drums and soaring choruses, sounding something akin to Biffy Clyro and Pearl Jam in a bar fight with Karnivool.
Who are your main influences?
Charles Darwin, Biffy Clyro, Devin Townsend, Karnivool, Jurassic Park, Alice In Chains.
What are you working on now?
Since the release of our EP last summer we’ve been (dis)gracing the stages of Melbourne’s many live music venues, whilst throwing shit at the wall of a rehearsal studio to see what sticks; or ‘song writing’ if you will.
Are you touring at the moment?
Not at the moment – we’re still having slide viewing nights of our front man’s very recent pilgrimage to North America. We do however have several shows booked in Melbourne so do check our inter-web-nets and social mediums for upcoming dates.
What can people expect at your live gigs?
Lizard Man’s live shows always get the crowd sizzling on a hot bed of rock. Plenty of guitar riffs, licks and wails – plus an aural take away lolly-bag of infectious melodies to howl and chant on your way home.
