After weeks of speculation over Harvest Festival‘s future, last night AJ Maddah announced the 2013 festival had officially been cancelled.
The event was due to be held during November with dates scheduled in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane.
International acts including Franz Ferdinand and Massive Attack were set to headline the festival but Maddah said most artists would now perform their own shows in Australia.
“Will be announcing headline shows by most of the harvest Artists in the next 10 days,” Maddah tweeted. “Those who purchased harvest tickets will be given priority access to these headline shows. Please stay tuned for details.”
