Describe your sound and lyric style
We try to make music that is all around catchy and fun-natured enough for a wide spectrum of people to enjoy, while still keeping enough edginess and intensity to promote a lot of energy from more dedicated concert goers at our live shows. We like to think we have a little something for everybody. Our lyrics are reflective of things we’ve experienced in life, that we hope people can relate to.
Who are your main influences? What else inspires you?
The list goes on and on for this question. A lot of our influences come from bands we’ve grown up listening to such as Good Charlotte, Blink 182, Mest, Alkaline Trio, Yellowcard, Green Day, and many more. Listening to these bands growing up have helped us write songs that remind us of these bands, but with a more modern sound.
Everything inspires us. For myself(Craig), seeing MXPX as my first concert, when I was 12 maybe, really sparked something in me to want to grow up and do the same thing as they were doing. Our fans(friends) inspire us and really keep pushing us to give this our all and to keep writing songs for them to sing along to. They with no doubt have to be our biggest inspiration.
What are you working on now?
We’re definitely working on a lot of new material for a future full length. We’re really excited to draw on a lot of influences and introduce a lot of variety with theses new songs. We are also shooting a new music video late this month that we are very excited about, as well as some really cool shows here in the Midwest.
Are you touring now? When/where?
We’ve done a minimal amount of touring since still being a young band and all, but more playing out-of-town shows here and there in Indy, Chicago, Northern Indiana, Northern Ohio, and going that route for now. We will be following Warped Tour for a few dates this summer and hopefully will get together a small week tour at the end of summer. I think it’s all of our dreams’ to tour non stop but for right now we have to take baby steps until we get there.
What can people expect at your live gigs?
Pure energy and passion, as well as a lot of crowd interaction. We love to get our fans having fun and into it and feed off of each other’s energy – we take pride in trying to make sure that no one leaves our show thinking they’ve seen a lackluster effort.
Where can people check out your music?
We’re on most social media sites, here’s everywhere you can check us out!
