Fresh off the plane from their maiden tour of the USA, Royal Chant are set to release the latest single from their fuzzed-out catalog of underground garage. Recorded amidst the sweltering heat and cacophony of NYC, the trio spent 2 days at The Fort in Brooklyn with James Bentley and emerged with “Did You Pay Cash For That Panic Attack?”, a sprawling collision of sound, word, and the modern world.
In typical Royal Chant thinking, they’ve nominated the middle of summer as the perfect time to load into the Tarago and barnstorm the motherland in an effort to make as much noise as possible, hopefully inspiring others to do the same. Ideally the two would happen at the same time.
“Did You Pay Cash For That Panic Attack?” hits the airwaves this month, and is available to fans and musically curious sorts as a free download from their website or from bandcamp.com
The Panic & Cash Tour kicks off in Melbourne.
